Home Tour: New York Loft

This weekend I came across this beautiful home feature in Martha Stewart, of all places. Not sure if its been feature anywhere else but wanted to share it here because I just loved it. The couple really did a fantastic job at designing their loft space, with just basic items and lots of paint. Really puts it in perspective, how the power of paint can change up a space.

Located in New York City, the loft was formerly a  shipbuilders' warehouse built in 1839. From the images below you can see how they kept the original wood floors and brought them back to life with basic white paint, amongst other architectural details.

It will be amazing to own an old building or loft space such as this, with lots of history to design and make it your home, oh the possibilities...
