In honor of 4th of July, I wanted to share some great interiors of our red white and blue.
This color scheme is a little tricky because if not done correctly you can end up with a countryesque room, "if that's even a word", or americana room as oppose to a modern room. An unless you are going for a country inspired room, I suggest to stay free from florals and plaids, instead use lots of geometric and solid patterns and stay on trend with what's hot. Also I suggest to use lots of black and metallic finishes to draw your eye and balance things out, from the intense red's and blue's and this dramatic color scheme.
Spaces so worth sharing and completely my style.
Not the typical red, white and blue room, a bit funky but it keeps things fun and interesting. With an eclectic vibe, the strong red white and blue's are kept to the perimeter of the room, while in the center you see an explosion of fun. With an assortment of animal prints and gold tones.
They've played around with scale here, if you notice nothing is to proportion but that's what makes this room so appealing. The window treatments in this space make quiet an impression, and strategically placed red pillows and ottomans in the center of the room, balance out all the blue's. This otherwise neutral space, is a perfect harmony of colors. On every direction the red, white and blue's complement each other, which makes this room so chic and glamorous.
With touches of red this otherwise monochromatic space becomes more fun.
Staying on trend with, Schumacher's Chiang Mai Dragon wallpaper in china blue.
Keeping it simple with solids and geometric shapes, this bedroom becomes more stylish with the gold tones from the Greek Key pendant light from C. Bell.
Classic stripes and ikat pillows keep this room looking modern.
The mix of styles in this space make this room interesting. A bit of glam with the crystal chandelier, some rustic with round wood dining table, and modern with acrylic side table. Also with touches of silver for a perfectly polished dining space.
Happy fourth of July! Time to BBQ!
