Loving Giraffes!

Wild for giraffes, they are the latest craze. I used the image below for one of my post, and since haven't been able to get it out of my head. So chic and glamorous, definitely stands out amongst the other elements in the room.

I feel that this appeals to everyone and the reason why we've been seeing them everywhere is because we all love our animals from  antlers to elephants and the like including prints, their is something about incorporating these items into a space  that can make a room a lot more interesting.

Feeling inspired, I decided to hunt down some of my favorite items!

What's Hot Now: Ikat

Asian inspired "ikat" has been big for some time from home accessories, upholstery fabrics, window treatments and bedding, even on the fashion runway ikat is what's hot. And we love them for their bold colors and patterns.

 

Recently I came across this ikat glass by New Ravenna. Can you imagined having this glass tile in a kitchen or bathroom, with it's captivating pattern and rich cool colors, you are sure to make a bold statement.

What's Hot Now: Horses in Decor

It seems as everyone is catching the latest trend from art to sculptures, horses are being used as a decorative item in a room. Recently while going through California Home Design, I even caught a glimpse of  Coup d'Etat a San Francisco Shop photographing a beautiful horse for their new ad.
